Fear and respect
Fear is an unpleasant often
strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger while respect is a feeling of appreciative. Fear takes place
when you feel there is something that can harm you. But respect comes when
someone is being regarded with honor or esteem.
If a person is fear of
something then he cannot respect those particular things in any way. But if you
totally respect someone then you do not have fear for them. We have noticed that
a child gets fear to go to his old grandparent’s room when they are present in
that room. But the day he starts to respect them, his all fear would be escaped
away.
Feeling like fear for someone
develops the negativity in people’s life.in other hand respect for someone not
only motivates you but also develops your self-confidence. There is a huge
difference in doing your work either due to fear or respect. If it is respect
then you do it for your own sake. If not then you will always push it for
completion without trying to learn from those works.
Fear can be considered as a
low-level emotion. It can lead to one consequence: avoidance. When you have fear
for something or somebody, you want to avoid that thing. Whereas, respect is a
very high-level emotion, involving the convergence of many other concepts. And
respect, unlike fear, allows for many possible responses. I might be compelled
to speak with people I respect, but I could avoid them if I want.
Well I want to conclude by
saying that fear and respect are very similar feelings. There is no respect in
fearing someone, or vice versa. There will be only a response to a danger, and
a change in attitude one doubts in the desire to escape that danger. Real
respect is empathy and understanding, of two different people on a level ground,
looking straight at each other.
