SKILLS,ATTRIBUTES
AND EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT
Well, it takes no time to be old.
I remember my first post. This is the third one and is about what I am studying
in first semester, what I hope to learn from these modules and in what way they
will help in my career.Studying computing means not only to study programming
language but it also include other modules too.
We are studying four
modules. Firstly, introduction to programming (JAVA). It covers the programming
part. It helps to imprint the base of programming language. I am not good
enough in coding but I am trying my level best to be a good one. To be a
successful software developer, flexibility in coding is required. This is what
I want to be in future.
The next module is Logic. Being
good in mathematics during my school days, I find this module quite easy. Logic
covers the mathematical part of programming. We use Boolean Algebra Laws to
reduce the numbers of circuits, right! It is because to do the same work in
short duration and using less computer memory. This module will help me to be
more logical.
The third module is Problem
Solving for IT which is the link between both programming and logic. It is one
of the important modules. I hope to tackle the difficult questions with ease and
find logical solutions. Learning MS. ACCESS and MS. EXCEL assists in managing
data by creating back up, input thousands of entries, run complex queries, etc.
Hence this module helps a lot in programming and also during the job interview.
The last module is Study Skills for
Computing. It deals with presentation skills, researching, technical skills and
all. Writing blog is also the part of it. This module helps to collect the
data, analyze it and express it with a good presentation. Being good in
programming is not enough, you must have presentation skills to express your
ideas in front of people. They should be convinced.
