Confidence And Arrogance

Confidence and arrogance

Well there is a bit difference between confidence and arrogance. Starting with confidence, it is firm belief in one’s power, abilities and capabilities. A confident person is not one who only believes himself but they also have faith and positive attitudes towards others.

Where arrogance is negative personality traits. Arrogance means “bigging yourself up”—whether publicly or just inside your own mind. It also involves knocking others down at the same time.

If we compare a confident person with an arrogant then there is a huge difference between them. A confident guy is always straight forward. He does not need to show off what he is and what he can do.an arrogant guy tries to be perfect but he is totally hollow from inside. He tries to prove what he is not. The fact behind it is that he does not have strong belief on himself.

Confident people always believe in competing their own records. They never underestimate others. They think what they can do, that can be done by others too. But arrogant people always try to compare themselves with others. They are more satisfied being one step forward than others, instead of achieving their major goal of their life.

Arrogant people have negative attitudes on them. It is hard for them to believe they are wrong. They pretend and try to convince themselves that they can never be wrong. Especially because of these attitudes people gets irritate with them.

Confident people listen and acknowledge others. They believe that how much they share, they will get more in return. But arrogant people think if they share then others will top them. And that cannot be digested by them.

Arrogant people only feel smart if they find someone else being stupid. They even try to humiliate others if they find grammatical errors. Arrogance is about intent: it is when ability is used to look down on others.

Confident people always try to know whether they are right or wrong. If they find they are wrong in some way then they try to correct those mistakes instead of pretending to be right.
Through this blog I want to say that it is good to be confident. But too much of confidence may lead to arrogance. Every good aspect has bad aspect too. So it is better not to stretch the things. If you try to stretch, it will turn out to worst.
